Our Story
CoverTech SA was founded in Pretoria, Gauteng, with a clear purpose: to create a better way to protect golf carts and outdoor vehicles in South Africa. We saw a gap between flimsy golf cart covers that offer minimal protection and expensive permanent garages that require building work and council approval — and we filled it with the CoverTech Portable Golf Cart Shelter: a freestanding, fully enclosed portable golf cart garage that combines a powder-coated aluminium frame with heavy-duty PVC canvas. It protects against sun, rain, dust, and wind, requires no concrete or permanent installation, and can be relocated whenever your needs change. Today, CoverTech shelters are used by private golf cart owners, golf estates, retirement villages, resorts, and farms across South Africa.

Our fabrication facility in Pretoria, Gauteng produces every CoverTech Portable Golf Cart Shelter to strict quality standards. Each aluminium frame is precision-cut, powder-coated in-house, and assembled by trained technicians. PVC canvas panels are cut and stitched locally. Before any shelter leaves our facility, it undergoes a full structural inspection to ensure it meets our standards for wind resistance, waterproofing, and long-term durability.
